In March 2012, Shein was the runner-up in the Astrakhan mayoral election, losing it to United Russia's Stolyarov, according to the official results. However, Shein claimed victory and held a 40-day hunger strike to protest alleged vote rigging. The election and hunger strike triggered the largest protests in the city's recent history, which drew thousands of people, including major Moscow opposition leaders, and gained attention nationwide.
To my knowledge, we don't have a standard, but a common practice for titles in series is to eliminate the collection name from the title (so instead of SERIES: TITLE or TITLE: SERIES, just use TITLE). Then, if the title page uses the series as supertitle or subtitle, include it in the publication title. That helps avoid having a series-less title be a variant of a title containing the series name when one runs into a publication that does not include that super/subtitle. You can see if you go here that The Sandman Collection's entries have not been handled consistently. I accepted your edit to add it to one of them, but it might be better to remove \"The Sandman:\" from the titles. I will point the other moderators to this in case someone thinks you should do otherwise, so wait a bit to see if anyone objects. --MartyD 10:30, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
On the title page of my copy of The Third Eagle there is what looks like a subtitle under the drawing. Based on this, I would like to change the title to \"The Third Eagle: Lessons Along a Minor String\". The record for the Doubleday hardcover edition has this subtitle and this pub is stated as being the complete text of that edition. Would it be OK to make the change Phil 07:24, 31 May 2022 (EDT)
Based on the title page for Polar City Blues, I'd like to change the title to \"Polar City Blues: An Entertainment\" and remove the subtitle note. I'd then unmerge this publication and make the existing title record a variant of the unmerged title since it is the original published title. I'd also like to change the page count to +262 and add the Author's Note title on page . What do you think Phil 15:20, 2 September 2022 (EDT) 781b155fdc
